Harbin,Sept.21,2024-- Today, the AC352 helicopter successfully conducted extreme weight and center-of-gravity slope takeoff, landing, and rotor start-stop test flights at Harbin Pingfang Airport. These tests expanded the operational slope envelopes for takeoff, landing, and rotor operations, showcasing the AC352's superior performance and broadening its range of operational scenarios.
Slope takeoff, landing, and rotor start-stop tests are considered medium-risk and technically demanding, requiring high performance from the helicopter. The AC352 successfully completed 12 flights over 15 hours under maximum weight conditions with various extreme center-of-gravity configurations, including left-forward, right-forward, left-rear, and right-rear positions. It also validated operations on slopes with inclines of 5 degrees uphill, 8 degrees downhill, and 8 degrees laterally. The results confirmed the AC352's exceptional performance in slope operations, further enhancing its versatility to better meet user requirements.
Next, the AC352 helicopter will transition to Jiansanjiang Airport to conduct additional test flights, including payload testing.
